Ouch, my baby’s teething!

At around the age of 6 months, babies begin to cut their first teeth. Some infants get through this period without too much trouble; for others however, the arrival of their first teeth can be a real source of discomfort. As the teeth develop, they pierce the gum line. This process is often painful for your child, causing irritation and swelling. The baby becomes cranky and may develop the following symptoms:
